About Kirby
"I hail from south jersey.... I was on the radio before I was out of high school on WWBZ Vineland, NJ.... I was drafted into the U S Army for 2 years. I took basic at Fort Dix, NJ. and became permanent party at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. I was promoted to Sgt E-5 in 13 months and 9 day's.... After an honorable discharge. It was back to radio.... I refreshed my skills at WSID in Baltimore. Next stop WENZ Richmond, VA. After WENZ I went to WANT around the corner which turned into a 13 year run.... As AM radio was fading. A friend across town named Bobalou called and offered me a job at 200.000 Watt FM WRVQ/Q94. I was there for 20 years and 11 months.... September 8, 2006 corporate budget cuts brought that run to an end. When I first got into radio. It was fun and a job and a party.... Toward the end of my career. It had become a job. The fun was taken out of radio......"

About Chip
"I'm an oldschool DJ from the 70s-- I got in to radio after I came back from the Airforce in 1974. Shortly after that, I attended the Broadcast Academy that was here in Richmond at that time and in 1976, I went on the air at WANT 990am. As years went on, I traveled and met many of the classic soul artists and friends to many of them. I will put up more about me a little later. I also do voice overs for commercials, Radio and Television."
